The Economic Development and Promotion Group of Anhalt-Bitterfeld mbH (EWG) is a fully-owned subsidiary of the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld. We act as a service provider for companies in the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld. EWG Anhalt-Bitterfeld mbH acts as the interface between business and management.

WE:

• Inform and consult busi­nesses free of charge and assist companies in matters of site acqui­si­tion, appli­ca­tion for financial subsidies, and approval pro­ce­dures.

Since 2012, our company has been tasked with improving the structure of the district of Mansfeld-Südharz by promoting the economy, transport, tourism, leisure and recreation. Since 2019, the shareholders have been the district of Mansfeld-Südharz, Lutherstadt Eisleben, the mountain and rose town of Sangerhausen, the municipality of Mansfelder Grund - Helbra, the Mansfelder Land lake district, the municipality of Südharz, the town of Mansfeld and Sparkasse Mansfeld-Südharz.

The Economic Development Agency is based in the district town of Sangerhausen in the “Haus der Wirtschaft”.
